During the Easter holidays, there will be changes to the operation of Rīgas satiksme parking lots and customer service centres; public transport will run according to the holiday schedule
During the Easter holidays, from 3 to 6 April, there will be changes in the working hours of Rīgas satiksme parking lots and customer service centres. Public transport will run according to the holiday schedule during this period. Given the Easter events at the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia on 5 April, larger capacity vehicles will be provided on several routes to ensure that passengers can reach the event location.
Public transport
On 5 April, the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia will host an Easter event. Therefore, larger capacity vehicles will be assigned to tram route 1, as well as bus routes 28 and 29 and trolleybus route 31.
On Good Friday, 3 April, and on Easter Monday, 6 April, public transport will run according to the holiday schedule.
Parking lots
The Riga Municipality’s paid parking lots, operated by Rīgas satiksme, will be free of charge on Friday, Sunday and Monday – 3, 5 and 6 April. On 4 April, the paid parking lots will be working as usual on Saturday – in tariff zones A, B, C, D from 9.00 to 17.00, in tariff zone R from 6.00 to 24.00.
The underground parking lot at K. Valdemāra iela 5a is subject to payment according to its tariffs on all days.
